How do salesmen make their money? Most salesman in industry or selling
steel buildings work off of straight commission. This is why so many are
willing to exaggerate or perhaps make untrue claims in order to get the
sale.
Most times a salesman will calculate the total cost of the steel building and then add on their commission. And if you are not informed or they feel you're slightly gullible an unscrupulous salesmen may tack on a high commission for himself. So it is best to be an informed buyer so that you get a fair price.
